Black and White Phantom Pointe by elphabaevitaeponine Black and White Phantom Pointe by elphabaevitaeponine
This is the same photo as the sepia one, but obviously with black and white instead. Which effect do you like better? I would LOVE to hear your opinions.

For our spring recital in May 2012 my pointe class danced to The Phantom of the Opera. It was... unimaginably epic. It was the first dance after intermission, so we came in down the aisles through the audience. So cool. After we all got up onto the stage (there were ramps), we lined up diagonally across the stage and did a whole bunch of really dramatic roll-offs. That dance was by far my favorite from last year (ok, not by far, our finale dance was super fun).
My mom took this picture on our dress rehearsal day, so the credit for the photo is to her, and then I added the effect.
By the way, the costumes were blue and black, with a little bit of silver.
Normally I don't put pictures of people on the internet without their permission, and I don't ever put recognizable pictures of myself online, but the masks make it so we're not really distinguishable. And most of these girls are some of my best friends, so they're ok with me using pictures of them.
